VLAA reception at the Homestead PLEASE sign up

Just a friendly reminder that on Sept 15th at the VAR Conference at the Homestead we have a VLAA reception. You do need a ticket for this event. Currently we only have 11 folks signed up. I have been told by Tracey at VAR that there is a min. amount of folks that need to be signed up to reserve the room and have the event. We don’t want to cancel the reception but if we don’t get at least 25 folks there that is what Tracey is going to have to do.If you are planning on being at the Homestead and…See More

VLA survey request

Check your e-mail! You should have received a request from Lisa Noon to do a survey for the VLA Alum. We have been asked by the Board of Directors to give them an overview of all the graduates--what roles they have played in NAR, VAR and their local Associations as well as any community service. We were able to gather all but the community info and now ask---no beg---that you take 5 mintues and respond to the survey. At the moment--32% have! Let's go for 100%--after all, we are leaders. Many…See More

Nathan Booth

I am sad to report the death of our friend Nathan Booth. I was told by the Lynchburg AE that he died yesterday, June 26th, from cancer. At this time I know nothing else. Nathan asked me to be apart of the first Leadership Academy. There are not enough thank yous that I can give for the fantastic experience. My heart felt condolences go to Cindy and his children.
